Clean, classical lines while emphasizing emotional interpretation of the lyrics
Open
Style that demonstrates any dance style or combination of dance styles.
Tap
Any recorded tap sounds on the music track will be a deduction of 10 points.
Contemporary
Routine that draws from modern, lyrical and ballet movements.
Hiphop/Street
Style that demonstrates hip-hop or street type moves.
Musical Theater
Style that interprets a song from a Musical, Movie or Broadway show.

General Rules
At Are You Ready, we value loyalty to studios. We do not allow teachers or studio owners to solicit dancers from other studios at any of our events. The first offense will result in a warning. If any additional offenses occur, the studio will not be permitted to attend any future Are You Ready event until future notice.
Dancers must be registered to compete or dance in the competition/ convention.
No outstanding balances are allowed
Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
You must treat the staff and other studios with respect, we have no tolerance for poor behavior.
Dancers are not limited to the amount of solos they may compete but only one can place in the overalls.
